This quote really made me laugh when I saw it on pinterest as I couldn't agree more. I will most certainly strive to be so good that no one can ignore me on my new business adventure. In the past when I have applied this strategy it almost always seems to have worked. I hope that this time it will come true once more for me.

Work hard, be determined, think positive, find a balance and live the life you have always dreamed. The Law of Attraction apparently works !

Balloons ...

Maybe you have seen this first picture in the latest copy of Mollie Makes ? In the States these balloons are a huge hit and I can't but help ogle over them. Admiring them each time I see another shoot and wishing somehow I could find an excuse to get some of my own. But coming from the States I can only imagine that to have them shipped over to the UK would be nothing short of a costly experience.

Are they not just simply irresistible ? I think they add a great deal of interest to events and with them being so light and easy to carry; fabulous for fun photo shoots. I asked someone this past weekend about balloons in general and I got told that they thought they were tacky. For a few seconds I felt like my heart had been torn into a million pieces, but I realised not long after the conversation that what they had not seen is balloons styled in the correct way. I am sure that with these photos I would win them over !

Movie Night ...

It has been a long time that my friends have had the delights of attending one of my many parties and I am slightly embarrassed, but with the wedding next year I have to really reign in on my spending to ensure that the Chrissi and Eddy reception is nothing short of spectacular ! 

Last night I thought long and hard of a party that would be relaxed yet fun and that wouldn't mean i'd have to spend a lot of money and the result; a 'movie night' for the girlies. I am talking salted and sweet popcorn, liquorice sticks, bottles of soda with my all time favourite stripy straws orderly arranged in vintage wooden crates. There'd be blankets and cushions galore along with dozens of tea lights to really set the scene.

Now unfortunately I do not have a big screen so it'll have to be on my 32" Samsung TV but pas mal all the same I think that it would pretty cool and I think my girlfriends would definitely enjoy this evening.

But what would I suggest movie wise ? Here I am really struggling.

Inspiration Friday ...

Have you ever found yourself quietly and silently whispering to yourself; ah what the heck another day won't hurt, I'll sort it out tomorrow. Only that tomorrow never arrives ? It is always the same thing it creeps up tomorrow, and the day after and even the day after that a month later even a year later la de dah de dah ! It goes on and on and on when you realise that thing you wanted to get done donkeys ago just hasn't happened. Then you get stressed and freaked out and start panicking like some crazed idiot. Well that's me !

I have wanted to do this and that and put it off and off and off until I find myself upset that BASICALLY I'm just too lazy to do it ! Well I don't want to be like that anymore and I can't it's time to move on and get with it. My dreams are big and unless I pull out my finger they just ain't going to materialise. Positivity, motivation and determination are the three things that count. Welcome to the Law of Attraction.

The time is now ! Everything can be now so lets get on with it !

Recipes for a jubilee tea party ...

I hope that you are enjoying your week so far. Mine has been lovely but I am getting a little exhausted with this heat here in London so am hoping and praying that it'll soon cool down a little at night and then maybe I could get a good nights sleep. Well here's to praying.

Anyhow, with the jubilee days away now I wanted to give a little link up to recipes that would suit an ideal English garden tea party.

Oh and by the way my neighbour agreed to have a little get together at hers so on the 5th  i'll be heading next door ! I am ever so delighted and thrilled to be planning a small party.

Don't forget the cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon and cream cheese and basically any little sandwich will do provided you trim the crust off and turn them into tiny triangles like such.

Sunny Saturday ...

It's a sweet sunny day again here in London and while i'll be relaxing in my bikini in a little garden full of roses reading a good book I wonder what all my lovelies will be up to ?
